Hi everyone, my name is Song Yang, I used to be called Cement .Because a friend of mine told me that people with weird names would be treated like homosexuals, so I changed my name to Simon based on the pronunciation of the word.
I come from Jinhua, China, maybe some people don’t know Jinhua but they must know Yiwu, which is a county of Jinhua. I won’t introduce my hometown much because I think it’s famous enough.
I majored in Digital Media at the University of Westminster, and now I’m taking a class called Commercial Music Broadcasting because I used to be interested in a career as an announcer.
But all along I’ve wanted to be a writer, my favourite writer is Yu Hua, I really like what he wrote in Alive, and I want to write something as great as Alive. Of course I’m writing now, only I can’t write a slightly longer article or story that I’m happy with. I’ll work on that.
