About XINRU’s self-talk

My name is Xinru Cheng. You can call me Eliza. I am 21 years old and born in Hangzhou . I graduated from Communication University of China, Nanjing.I’m good at dancing,playing drums and guzheng. My zodiac sign is Scorpio and my personality type is INFP, so if you don’t know me well you might think I’m quiet, but I’m actually more passionate about people I know well!

I love taking beautiful images and quick videos in my free time.It gives me great joy to convey sophistication using basic items.

I enjoy watching movies as well. The Hong Kong-born director Wong Kar-wai is one of my favorites. My favorite movies are “Chungking Express” and “Fallen Angels.” I am really drawn to his films’ tones and compositions. This, I assume, has something to do with his early experiences living in Shanghai. I share some of his appreciation for aesthetics because I’m a fellow Southerner. We both enjoy using characters in the cramped, rainy cityscape to convey our love and hate.

In addition, I am an animal lover. I have three cats at home, and I brought one of them, an American Shorthair named Miki, to London to accompany with me. Everyone is invited to come to my place and jerk the cat because she is really friendly and cute. I also enjoy cooking, so if you’d want to experience some traditional Chinese cuisine, please contact me and I’ll be pleased to bring you to my home and prepare you a delicious lunch.

Finally, I’d want to explain why I chose this particular field of study. Because I hope to work as a television commercial director or producer in the future. Despite the fact that my current job is in the advertising agency direction, I believe that understanding the overall structure and operation of the advertising media industry, as well as accumulating certain resources and contacts, will help me to better develop and allocate resources in the front-end production direction in the future, as well as better communicate with clients’ needs.
